A new registration procedure for radio-electronic equipment approved

Russian Ministry of Digital Development informs about changes in the rules of registration of communications electronics. From March 1, 2022, in the extension of the permission to use radio frequency spectrum, the register entry on the registered radio-electronic device will be automatically renewed.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko approved the new registration procedure, which is part of the Action Plan for the implementation of measures to stimulate the investment activity of operators for the development of communication networks based on advanced technologies.

The rules will get rid users from additional administrative procedures. The operators of large networks, who now face the need to obtain dozens of certificates of registration of radio-electronic equipment, will feel this first and foremost.
