The branches of the Russian Post to have 10,000 postamats and pick-up points of AliExpress

4 March 2021, Thursday

The partners will open new pick-up points, check-in terminals and branches under the unified brand and will provide Russian sellers with fulfillment services all over the country. The new infrastructure will simplify the work of sellers and producers and will allow half of the Russian population to receive orders the next day.

Russian Post and AliExpress Russia signed a strategic partnership agreement to implement a logistics development programme for the e-commerce market in Russia in 2021-2025. The partners will offer AliExpress Russia sellers fulfillment service in a network of logistics centres across the country, where the Post will store goods and pick orders from AliExpress.

The partners plan to expand the order-issuing network and open over 10,000 new checkpoints and pick-up points throughout Russia under the unified brand of Russian Post and AliExpress Russia. Pick-up points under the AliExpress brand will be opened on the basis of new and existing branches of the Post Office. In March 2021, Russian Post couriers began to deliver orders from AliExpress to your home in an hour from the points of issue of orders and post offices.
