The year 2021 declared the Year of Science and Technology

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree declaring the upcoming 2021 the Year of Science and Technology.

The Year of Science and Technology will be the responsibility of a specially established committee, which will develop and approve a plan of major events. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and Aide to Tatarstan President Andrei Fursenko were appointed Co-chairmen of the Organizing Committee.

In turn, the regions of the country were recommended to hold a number of events dedicated to the upcoming Year of Science and Technology.
