The Internet to appear in 755 villages of Tatarstan

Russian Ministry of Digital Development has approved the list of settlements to be connected to the Internet and cellular communications. It includes 755 Tatarstan villages and rural places from all 43 regions of the republic.

These villages will be connected to the Internet under the federal law "On Communication". According to it, settlements with a population of 100 to 500 people should be provided with Wi-Fi access points.

In total, according to the program, it is planned to provide 24 670 such settlements with the Internet throughout Russia, and 2,389 villages with cellular communications.
