Yandex.Lyceum is free full-time programming courses for schoolchildren from one of the largest IT companies in the country. For admission, it is necessary to test the ability to think logically on the project website from August 30 to September 10, and then have an interview with a Yandex.Lyceum teacher.
The Lyceum admits students of grades 8-9. The training lasts two years. The first year schoolchildren study Python - one of the most popular and demanded programming languages, which is used by YouTube, NASA, and Yandex. The second year is devoted to the basics of industrial programming and work on educational projects.
By the end of the course, the students will have the skills of a junior programmer and learn to create their own chat bots, games and web applications. The training is conducted by experienced certified teachers who have undergone advanced training courses in Yandex and receive ongoing support from the project team.
