Winners of the DIGITAL SUPERHERO IT project: Hackathons provide an opportunity to make people's lives better

On May 30, the first stage of the all-Russian IT-marathon DIGITAL SUPERHERO ended: the names of the winners were announced in real time. The first place and the main prize amounting to 200,000 roubles were won by the Neurocore team from Moscow.

As many as 60 teams from 35 cities became participants in the starting online hackathon “Intelligent Transport System and Elements of Situation Centres”. Based on the results of the seven-day contest, three winners were selected.

The Moscow Neurocore team participated in an IT contest under a track dedicated to Intelligent Transport Systems. During the hackathon, the winners solved the problem of controlling traffic by recognizing vehicles, and also revealed anomalies by constructing algorithms for the trajectories of cars and buses.

As the guys said, participation in hackathons and solving such problems attracts with the opportunity to make people's lives better, motivates to create projects with high accuracy indicators.

The DIGITAL SUPERHERO is a joint project of Tatarstan, Ministry of Digitalization of the republic, Traffic Safety State Institution, the InnoSTage group of companies, the DigitalSuperHero business accelerator and Ak Bars Bank. The project is aimed at creating an environment for piloting digital development in the public sector and business in Tatarstan.
