As many as 100 per cent of Tatarstan schools to be connected to the Internet by optics

On June 5, in Kazan, at a joint meeting of the Commission of the Presidium of the United Russia Regional Political Council on issues of assistance in informing and implementing national projects and commissions in the municipalities of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin made a report on the implementation of Digital Economy national programme and said  that by the beginning of the next school year, all general education institutions of the republic will be connected to the Internet by optics.

The connection of socially significant facilities of Tatarstan to the Internet is implemented under Digital Economy national project. In total, 3,460 socially significant facilities are planned to be provided with high-speed Internet access.
