5G Network in Tatarstan: Facts and Development Prospects

The 5G network is a new generation of network architecture that will provide higher data transfer speeds and high online traffic level processing.

It is expected that the towers of 5G networks will be in two frequency ranges: 4,800-4,990 MHz and 25.25-27.5 GHz. Now Russia is studying the possibility of using the frequencies of previous generations of cellular communications (we are talking about 2G, 3G and 4G), namely, the ranges 800-900 MHz, 1.8-1.9 GHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.5 GHz. At the same time, the specificity of the technology establishes that the radiation power of the 5G towers will not be greater than that of existing ones.
