On January 16, at the Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of Tatarstan, Digital Minister Airat Khairullin, Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the republic Elmira Zaripova, Project Manager for Poverty Reduction by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the Russian Federation (World Bank) Nitin Umapati , specialists from the Center for Digital Transformation, Tatarstan Information Technology Centre, the BARS Group and representatives of the World Bank and ministries of the republic took part in a meeting on the digitalization of state social assistance services to residents of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of an information system project that will quickly identify citizens who are in special need of social protection. The new system will keep the register of those in need in the region up to date, predict the socio-economic situation of poor families and eliminate manual input errors and corrupt practices.
