Issue of universal electronic cards started in Tatarstan

First pilot package of universal electronic cards will soon be issued to Tatarstaners. They were received by GUP “Center of information technologies” to enter the electronic digital signature. Other cards are being personalized in Tatarstan banks – Ak Bars and Sberbank.
To the point, one thousand Tatarstaners, employees of resident companies of high technology technopark IT-park, will receive pilot cards this year.
“A universal electronic card is a universal identification document of a citizen in the system of electronic state services and a universal tool for state services,” Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Anisa Gainullina told. In future all electronic services available on the portal of state and municipal services will be rendered via the universal card.
The universal electronic card can also be used as a banking card to pay for goods in shops, to receive salary and pension and pay for Internet.
Security is provided by certified information security products. The card does not contain personal data, they cannot be read or rewritten. The card or information it contains cannot be copied.

A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
