IT lyceum opened in Kazan

IT lyceum of the Kazan Federal University for talented children opened in Tatarstan. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of sport Natalia Parshikova, Vice-premier – Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of education Albert Gilmutdinov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials took part in the opening ceremony.
The first lesson for new pupils was Lesson of the Universiade held by Director General of ANO “Executive office “Kazan 2013” Vladimir Leonov, volleyball player of the Russian team and Kazan Dinamo Ekaterina Gamova.
IT lyceum is located on the territory of Universiade Village and represents complex that consist of educational building and boarding school. Director of the lyceum Irek Fatkhutdinov told that 144 boys will study at the lyceum. He is sure that graduates of the institution will get high grades at the unified state exam.
Students will study three compulsory languages - Russian, Tatar and English, and will be able to choose one of three languages – Chinese, French and German. Speaking about special features of education, he said: “Basic school curriculum will be completely realized. Natural-scientific subjects will be taught in a more enhanced form. All subjects will be integrated with IT.”
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
