Electronic fund of academic literature adopted at all Tatarstan schools
3 July 2012, Tuesday
The information system “Electronic fund of course books” has been launched in all Tatarstan schools. The system contains about 5,5 mln publications. New software module enables saving and managing all bibliographic records about course books kept in Tatarstan libraries.
Information is integrated due to location of data bases on servers of the Center of data processing of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The system helps teachers get accurate information about books kept in a school library and the list of textbooks approved by the RT and RF Ministry of education and science.
Owing to the innovation, school librarians will be able to maintain school funds of books, receive updated information about these funds and exchange books with other schools.
Moreover, specialists of municipal regions and RT Ministry of education and science will get precise information about provision of pupils with textbooks, manage and efficiently make orders for new study materials, and control the process on municipal and republican levels.
To use the system, school librarians and responsible persons should enter their login and password from the personal account on the website “Electronic education in the Republic of Tatarstan” and choose the right section.
