Digital set-top boxes can be purchased at the post office

Digital set-top boxes went on sale in rural post offices of Tatarstan. Now residents of remote settlements can purchase equipment for receiving a digital signal in the nearest post office and do not need to go to the regional centre.

Set-top boxes are available in 500 rural post offices of the republic and 150 urban ones at the lowest possible price not more than 1000 roubles.

On June 3, 2019, Tatarstan will have a full-scale transition to digital television broadcasting, during which analogue television broadcasting will be turned off. After the transition to the “digit”, as many as 20 free TV channels in high, digital quality will become available to all residents of the country and the republic.
