Dear colleagues, communications workers!

Please, receive my greetings on the professional holiday of workers of all communications sectors – Radio Day!
The invention of a distinguished Russian scientist A.S.Popov once gave new impetus to development of civilization. Today we cannot imagine our life without modern communication means – TV, cellular communication, Internet. New technologies we have got used to changed our lives. Now we have new sources of information, new communication channels between the state and citizens, we have become more mobile and more free.
Today 2 mln people in Tatarstan use Internet, 62 % of families have broadband Internet at home. Cellular communication covers 96 % of republic, 3G communication – 85 % of population. More than a million of state services per month are rendered in electronic format.
Your daily work contributes to all of these achievements. I am sure that together we will achieve more impressive results in developing info-communications infrastructure and consolidating positions of Tatarstan as one of the leaders in the industry.
I would like to express words of gratitude, delight and respect to our veterans. Quite a lot of them are participants of the Great Patriotic War.
Thank you for your work and your heroic deeds! I wish you strong heath, longevity, peace and all the best!
