Eleven Tatarstan citizens take part in World Robot Olympiad
On November 16, in Thailand, the World Robot Olympiad, where over 60 countries will compete for medals in the “Primary”, “Creative”, “Student” categories and in the “Football of Robots”. As many as 48 participants, including 11 from Tatarstan, represent Russian team at the contest.
Tatarstan participants represent the Lyceum of Innopolis, the Naberezhnye Chelny Centre for Children's Technical Creativity and the Laboratory of Robotics and Industrial Design from Kazan.
The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is an international robot contest for schoolchildren and students between 7 and 25 years old. The University of Innopolis is the National Operator of the WRO and the organizer of the national stage of the All-Russian Robotic Olympiad since 2014. The experts of the University train and select participants for the Russian national team.
