Roman Shaykhutdinov visits Stanford University
On October 23, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov as a member of Tatarstan delegation visited Stanford University, located near the city of Palo Alto, California, which is one of the best and top-rated universities in the United States and the world.
The delegation visited the Hasso Plattner Design Institute (also known by its unofficial name as “D-school” or “d.school”) - a design school at Stanford University and the Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL), founded in 2003 by Professor Jeremy Bailenson. The mission of the laboratory is to understand the dynamics and implications of interactions among people in immersive virtual reality simulations (VR), and other forms of human digital representations in media, communication systems, and games.
