Following the results of the IoT World Summit Russia, the first in Russia open NB-IoT network will be launched in Innopolis
On October 1-2, the World Digital Summit on the Internet of Things technology (IoT World Russia Summit), organized by Redenex international research company was held in Kazan. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Informatization and Communication of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in the opening ceremony. Research Institute of Advanced Telecommunication technologies, the City of Innopolis and the Innopolis decided to launch the first in Russia open NB-IoT network.
Special Economic Zone One of the practical results of the summit was the decision of the companies NII STT, Innopolis City and the Special Economic Zone Innopolis to launch the first open network in Russia in Innopolis.
The main aim of launching network is to encourage developers of solutions for the Internet of Things to use the new NB-IoT standard and conduct their tests in real conditions.
