On June 6, on the sidelines of the All-Russian conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” (CIPR), the National Centre of Competence of scientific and technological information (STI) in the field of robotics and mechatronics was opened.

With the opening of the Centre, the University of Innopolis has become the core of Russian robotics.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shakhutdinov, Director of Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin, Rector of Innopolis University Aleksandr Tormasov, Director of sector “Young professionals” of the Agency of strategic initiatives Dmitry Peskov and Director General of Russian Venture Company Aleksander Povalko took part in the event.
