On April 17, at the Telanaga-Tatarstan business forum, held during a working visit of the Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Hyderabad (India), prospects for the development of cooperation, including in information technology, between the republic and the Indian State of Telangana were discussed.
Speaking at the event, Principal Secretary at the Government of Telangana Jayesh Ranjan stressed that the Telangan authorities pay great attention to the development of the IT sphere. Today, the city of Hyderabad is one of the leading centres for the development of the IT industry in India.
According to him, due to the active development of information technology Hyderabad is the second software exporter in India. For this purpose, the state has created about 70 special economic zones.
Deputy Prime Minister of the republic- Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov introduced IT infrastructure of the republic at the example of the IT-park and the city of Innopolis. The strategy of digital transformation of Tatarstan, one of the leaders of Russia in the field of information technologies, was introduced at the forum. Favourable conditions for the transition to the era of the digital economy have been created in the region.
