On April 16, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – the regional Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov arrived as a member of Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on a two-day working visit in India.
During the visit, the delegation visited a number of IT-facilities of India including largest business incubator “T-Hub”, the Indian School of Business (ISB) and the Microsoft campus.
The T-Hub is the lasgest business incubator in India, which is a public-private partnership between the government of Telangana, universities and key private sector leaders. The T-Hub develops academic, corporate, research and government projects. Currently, there are 135 companies among its residents.
The Indian Business School (ISB) provides management education. The ISB has joint educational programmes with such well-known universities as MIT, Harvard University, Columbia University. Now, 650 students are studying there. The school offers one-year programmes.
Today, the Microsoft campus opened is the company’s largest research centre outside the United States. The campus employs 5,000 professionals involved in the development of the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, artificial intelligence.
