21 September 2011, Wednesday
A new thematic media resource dedicated to development of E-government in Russia ru-egov.ru is now available in Internet. The main purpose of project called eGov Live is to represent quality and efficiency of electronic services in RF regions.
According to the project’s founder Alena Popova, an activist and expert in the sphere of electronic government, citizens are poorly informed about electronic services and government employees about their quality, especially in regions. eGov Live intents to solve problems of communication and lack of information on mentioned issues.
“We consider work with regions, ministries and departments to be an important task of the project. eGov Live is becoming a unified aggregator of all e-government news and will be the first to inform about regions’ news in this very area”, - Alena Popova said.
Interactive map is the main component of portal where one may choose a region and tu\ype of service, assess it and leave a comment. Users’ ratings are introduced on the map in colors in order to present a true-to-life situation in the sphere of e-services and to understand what is more in-demand in regions.
There is a large section containing the list of civil projects presented on Gov2People.ru and various media histories connected with presence of state in the Internet.
One more useful service is “Officials in social network”. It includes official accounts of government employees in different social networks (Twitter, facebook, etc). Moreover, it is planned to hold round tables and video conferences in the context of the project.
