IT projects of Tatarstan Republic presented to New York state delegation

Delegation of New York state headed by Assembly deputy, chairman of committee on issues of new Americans Alec Brook-Krasny visited Technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT-park. The visit was held within the limits of working trip of the delegation to Tatarstan Republic.

Director of GAU “Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” Dinar Nasyrov presented IT-park and projects in the sphere of informatization of health care, education and transferring state services in electronic format.

Officials of New York state were especially interested in a major republican project - Central archive of medical images. Today 100 % of computer, MR-imagers, angiographs and other expensive medical equipment are connected to it, - 100 units in 21 medical institutions and 100 000 researches are placed in archive. The system provides doctors access to patients’ histories and diagnostic data in electronic format and make efficient decisions regardless of a patient’s location.

Guests got to know about capabilities of system on coordinating rescue of the injured people “GLONASS+112” and visited business incubator for start-up IT projects.

We remind that inter-Parliamentary cooperation between Tatarstan Republic and New York state is based on Memorandum about mutual understanding between State Council and New York state Assembly signed on January,26 2010 in the course of visit of parliamentary delegation of Tatarstan to USA.

A systemic work on expanding key areas of cooperation is carried out. Within the limits of bilateral dialogue contacts between JSC “Innovative technopark “Idea” and nano-college of State university of New York state, JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” and Department for economic development and trade of New York state have been established. The current visit of American colleagues will be the next step in developing inter-Parliamentary and economic partnership of two regions.
