Answering journalists’ questions at a briefing at Russian Startup Tour in Kazan, Board Chairman of Skolkovo Foundation Andrey Burenin said that cooperation between Skolkovo and Innopolis may be established in the sphere of staff training and professional development.
The second round of All-Russia programme on development and support of technological entrepreneurship, the road show of development institutes Russian Startup Tour was held at Kazan IT park on February 6. The event was organised by Skolkovo Foundation, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Russian Venture Company, and ROSNANO.
On February 6 at a briefing witin the framework of Russian Startup Tour Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov said: “Our purpose is to bring the share of the industry in GRP to 5 per cent.” Currently the share of information and communication industry makes 3.15 per cent.
The branch of Russian TV and Radiobroadcasting Network “TV and Radiobroadcasting centre of the Republic of Tatarstan” started test broadcasting of digital channels at 40 objects in the following regions: Aksubaevsky, Apastovsky, Bavlinsky, Baltasinsky, Buinsky, Verkhne-uslonsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Kaibitsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Kukmorsky, Laihevsky, Mamadyshsky, Mendeleevsky, Menzelinsky, Mulyumovsky, Novosheshminsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky, Rybno-slobodsky, Sarmanovsky, Spassky, Tetyushsky, Tyulyachinsky, and Cheremshansky. It enabled increasing TV broadcasting coverage to 85 per cent.

An extended session on results of work of communication industry in 2013 and setting tasks for 2014 with participation of Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov was held at Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication on January 29.

An agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan Government and FGUP “Russian Post” will be signed today by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Director General of FGUP “Russian Post” Dmitry Strashnov at a summary session of RT Ministry of Information and Communication in presence of Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov.
