The selection of candidates for the MA programme “Information technologies – software management” with the participation of leaders of Tatarstan IT industry was held at Innopolis University on August 9-11. Among experts of the industry were FIX, Etton, KamAz, IQ300, ICL-KPO VS, Digital Loyalty System, RT-Inform.
Innopolis University is the first Russian university that specializes in modern information technologies. Programmes aimed at getting theoretical knowledge and involving students in practical innovative activity are already opened at Innopolis University.
On August 11, training on working in the system “Electronic health care” by new functional modules “Medical examination” and “Vaccine prophylaxis” for tutors started at Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications.

Solemn presentation of school bags to future first-formers was held in Verkhny Uslon region within the framework of the regional charity campaign “Help to get ready for school”. A special performance called “School land of magic” was organized for 171 first-formers.
On August 5-8, Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications conducted training by new functional modules of the Unified State Information System “Electronic health care of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Medical examination” and “Vaccine prophylaxis” for super tutors.
On August 8, First Deputy Minister of Education Natalia Tretyak, representatives of publishing houses, experts and representatives of Russian regions took part in a meeting on developing requirements for electronic textbooks.
Applications for Algarysh grant for training, professional development and internships at Russian and foreign educational and scientific institutions can be sent on the portal of state services uslugi.tatarstan.ru.

According to Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency, new licenses were granted to eight organisations: Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, embassies of the Russian Federation in Slovakia and Slovenia, “Research Institute of pulmonology of the Federal medical and biological agency”, “East Siberian Research Centre of human ecology”, higher educational institution of Kaliningrad region “teacher training institute”, Volga orthodox institute named after St. Alexis, metropolitan of Moscow, and higher educational institution “Innopolis University”.
Requests concerning pollution of basins are being received in “Public control” system. In summer 2014, 30 requests were sent by category “water”, resolutions have been made by 15 of them, 3 requests are being processed, the status “Planned” was given to 8 requests, the status “motivated refusal” was given to 4 requests.
