26 Russian teams that will take part in World Robot Olympiad (November 21-23, Sochi) have been formed in accordance with results of final competitions. 90 pupils from 15 Russian regions took part in the competitions organized by Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Innopolis University, a national operator of World Robot Olympiad.

Participants of IT-jump festival successfully presented their projects in “Baitik” computer camp on October 23. CEO of the Centre of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova took part in the event. She welcomed the pupils and wished them successful realization of their projects.

Russia’s first high technology technopark “IT-park” opened within the framework of the federal programme “Creation of high technology parks in Russian Federation” on October 23, 2009.
On October 22, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrey Pominov, MasterCard Vice-President Galina Ganeeva, Director of the Department of retail business of Ak Bars bank Marat Ganeev, and CEO of the Centre of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova took part in press briefing on prospects of information technologies in educational process and the project “School card”.
