Necessary infrastructure is being created in Innopolis. A post office of the Russian Post has opened at technopark named after Popov. Students and employees of Innopolis University will be the first to use services of the new post office.
Higher school of information systems and technologies and IBM will launch a joint educational programme for students for teaching the basis of implementation, functional capabilities, configuration tools and standard extensions of IBM Maximo.
A meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads on dispatching transport vehicles on intermunicipal routes was held on February 10. The meeting was held by Acting Head of the ministry Andrey Egorov.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) programme was developed by Innopolis University for children of 5-11 forms interested in technical studies. On open day everyone can get detailed information from teachers and pass tests. 50 children will have an opportunity to study for free.
On February 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on realization of the capital repair programme. Acting Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the event. Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov made a report on changing overhead transmission lines for underground communications in Tatarstan.
In accordance with the federal law 442 dated as of 28.12.2013 “On the basis of social services provided to Russian citizens” a subsystem of organization of social services in the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the information system “Social register of population of the Republic of Tatarstan” was created and implemented in 2014.
On February 4, during its visit to Kazan IT Park, “Eidos” medical center and Kazan helicopter plant, Kazakhstan delegation led by Prime Minister Karim Massimov were accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov.
On February 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the IBM service centre on the ground of engineering centre of OAO “ICL-KME CS”(Kazan Manufacturing Enterprise of Computer Systems) in Laishevo District of Tatarstan Republic.
