More than 250 messages have been sent to “Public control” system in the category “Violation of trade regulations”. 96 per cent of messages have been processed. Moderator of the category “Violation of trade regulations” is the Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications.

The first round of regional contest “IT-champion 2015” was held on March 15-July 31. 39,304 pupils taught 46,692 citizens of Tatarstan to work on the portal of state services. The second round of the contest will last till November 30.

A meeting on optimization of work of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection and subordinate organizations in the system “Social register of population of the Republic of Tatarstan” and implementation of ICT in social sphere was held yesterday. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Azat Mubarakshyn and Deputy Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Natalia Butaeva took part in the meeting.

Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov held an extended session on development of the industry in the first half of 2015. He said that it is developing notwithstanding the current crisis. The gross venue of the industry made 21 bln roubles or 43 % of annual planned in the first six months of 2015.

On September 4, Kazan IT-park and Startup Sauna accelerator (Finland) will hold the international selection of the most prospective startups in Russia. Three projects will be among 15 best startups in Russia, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. They will take part in 5-week acceleration programme in Helsinki.

Results of the development of IT industry in Kazan and the development strategy for 2015-2017 were discussed at the 44th session of Kazan City Duma.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Azat Mubarakshyn, representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and mobile operators took part in the meeting.
