Seoul National University (South Korea) has become a partner of Innopolis University. The universities have signed an agreement on cooperation that will let students of Innopolis University to study at Seoul National University for one semester.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications and OOO “1C” agreed on developing information technologies in oil and gas industry. Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Director General of Tatneft Oil company Nail Maganov and Director of OOO “1C” Boris Nuraliev signed an agreement on cooperation at Kazan IT-park on Wednesday.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication has finished transferring the State Information System “Social register of population of the Republic of Tatarstan” from data processing center of the Ministry of Labour to Data Processing Center of IT-park. It helped to speed up the working process and the formation of regional register of applications for social benefits.

On August 12, a delegation of OOO GDC of ICL group with Senior Vice-president of Fujitsu Global Delivery Jack Noble, Senior Vice-president and Head of GDC Bryan Murphy and head supervisor of GDC, Russia Chris Ellis visited Innopolis.

5th Russian Computer Championship among pensioners will be held on August 24-25, 2015 in Kazan. A record number of participants from 70 regions and 6 foreign countries, Abkhazia, Belarus, Belgium, Poland, Slovenia and Finland will take part in the event.

A solemn opening of Federal training on Olympiad informatics was held at Innopolis University. Different trainings with the participation of leading experts in robotics will be held under the programme of support of talented children and development of Olympiad movement. Best students will represent Russian team at World Robot Olympiad 2015 in Doha, Qatar.

More than 40 talented children from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk schools came to the opening of the summer school of Olympiad informatics at Innopolis University.

A meeting with officials responsible for personnel management at local self-government authorities was held at Kazan Federal University. Head of the Tatarstan Presidential Department for state service and personnel Aleksandr Belov opened the meeting. Functioning of the unified information system “Personnel” was discussed at the meeting.

FINA World Championship that was held on July 24-August 9 in Kazan arouse a big interest among Russian and foreign sports fans. 27, 000 spectators came to see the competitions every day.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications continues working on connecting managing organizations to the Portal of state and municipal services uslugi.tatarstan.ru. 77 agreements have already been signed.
