Dias Safin has been appointed director of ROSTELECOM branch in the Republic of Tatarstan. He earlier worked as a commercial director of MTS-Turkmenistan.

Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum opened in Kazan. The 5th International specialized exhibition “GEO-KAZAN: Geological exploration. Geodesy. Cartography”, and 4th International research and practice conference “Topical issues of geodesy and geoinformation systems” will be held during the forum.

A solemn handing over of diplomas to BA and MA graduates was held today at Innopolis University. Representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications took part in a session of Consultative council on development and use of the infrastructure of e-government under Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media.

On August 28, Acronis and SEZ “Innopolis” signed agreement on cooperation. The document implies creation of the center for research and development and cloud technologies for data storage. The agreement was signed by Acronis Director Sergei Belousov and Director of SEZ “Innopolis” Igor Nosov.

On August 27, a special version for visually impaired users was launched on the Official portal of legal information of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On August 28, Acronis company, the world’s leader in the sphere of data protection, is opening its office at Kazan IT-park. The company became a resident of Kazan IT-park on August 17.

A session of the contest commission on educational grants in the sphere of information technologies for 2015/2016 was held at Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications on August 28. The commission confirmed the list of 50 students, who will start studying at the sphere of information technologies this year.

On August 28, Acronis company, the world’s leader in the sphere of data protection, is opening its office at Kazan IT-park under a long-term programme of company development in the region. The agreement on carrying out innovative activity will be signed by Acronis and IT-park.

On August 27, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov held a meeting with residents of Kazan IT-park on issues of import substitution for software.
