More than 1300 students from Russia and countries of the near abroad took part in distance round of open Olympiad in programming in the first year. Thus year the competition will include two online rounds that will be held on December 6 and 19.

The service of public discussions was launched on the portal uslugi.tatarstan.ru last November. It enables citizens to contribute to law-making activity and make proposals regarding socially important bills of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On November 24, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov announced that the construction of digital television broadcasting network was finished in the republic. The project cost 1 bln rubles. Tatarstan has become one of the first Russian regions that finished construction of the network.
