The delegation headed by Russian Minister of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov visited Kazan-Arena stadium within the framework of the project World Cup 2018. Members of the delegation accompanied by the Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov inspected readiness of the telecommunications infrastructure at the sports venue for Confederations Cup that will be held in Kazan this summer.
On May 26, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan. He was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov at Kazan international airport.

On May 26, during his working visit to Tatarstan, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev accompanied by Russian Minister of Education and Science Olga Vasilieva, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov visited IT lyceum at Kazan Federal University.
