The selection championship  JuniorSkills is being held in the Republic of Tatarstan. Students of IT lyceum are taking part in eight competences. Four teams from IT lyceum will take part in the regional championship.

Employees of Digital Media Lab of Higher school of information technologies and systems won a medal at hackathon “Make up a university” in St.Petersburg. The team presented a project on the technology of virtual reality that helps to make up complicated engineering solutions.

Specialists of the Center of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan have told how to use state services in electronic format. A few meetings on benefits of state and municipal services in electronic format were held at Kazan helicopters plant and Giproniiaviaprom on November 9.

Representatives of Worldskills Korea and Samsung Skills Center in South Korea visited Tatarstan and the Interregional center of competences - Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications and Kazan trade-economic technical school.

63 teams from Tatarstan and Chuvashia took part in the 18th All-Russia Olympiad on programming at Innopolis University. The competitions were held in the format of international Olympiad ACM ICPC. The competitors were solving tasks in one of the languages C/C++, C#, Java, Python, Pascal, Kotlin.

Rostelecom, Tattelecom, Huawei and Ministry of Information and Communications have concluded an agreement on cooperation under which the parties will indicate areas of partnership in the sphere of 5G development.

The 4th National WorldSkills championship has recently finished in Yekaterinburg. Winners were announced at the closing ceremony.

A student of Kvantorium Denis Kasyanov won the highest award in the competence “Industrial robotics”.

A new category – Violation of regulations on alcohol sales has been introduced in the State information system of the Republic of Tatarstan “Public control”. The moderator of the category is Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the executor on citizens’ requests is State alcohol inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A social educational programme on WEB development for disabled people started at IT-park in Naberezhnye Chelny. The programme was developed by IT academy of IT-park and is implemented by IT-park and Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.

New digital competences, - “Development of virtual and augmented reality” and “Development using blockchain technology” were tested at the 4th National championship WorldSkills Hi-Tech in Yekaterinburg.
