On October 1-2, the World Digital Summit on the Internet of Things technology (IoT World Russia Summit), organized by Redenex international research company was held in Kazan. According to Hi-tech publication, on October 1, in Russia, a part of the requirements of the so-called “Yarovaya Package”, which obliges operators to keep absolutely all Internet traffic of users for six months, came into force.

According to the law, operators must keep voice and text messages for 30 days and the Internet companies should keep text messages, voice information, images, sounds, videos and other e-messages of users for six months. Moreover, companies are obliged to provide this information on request of security forces.
