On October 1-2, the World Digital Summit on the Internet of Things technology (IoT World Russia Summit), organized by Redenex international research company was held in Kazan. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Informatization and Communication of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in the opening ceremony. Research Institute of Advanced Telecommunication technologies, the City of Innopolis and the Innopolis decided to launch the first in Russia open NB-IoT network.

On December 10-14, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, DigitalSkills 2018 will be held.

On October 6, IT-lyceum of Kazan Federal University will hold the Open Day, where guests can get acquainted with the lyceum, its teachers and educational programmes.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov informed that a branch of the Chinese Dahua Technology Company will be opened in Kazan.

Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication informs the citizens of Kazan that maintenance works will be carried at the Kazan Radio and Television Centre on October 3-5.

According to Hi-tech publication, on October 1, in Russia, a part of the requirements of the so-called “Yarovaya Package”, which obliges operators to keep absolutely all Internet traffic of users for six months, came into force.

According to the law, operators must keep voice and text messages for 30 days and the Internet companies should keep text messages, voice information, images, sounds, videos and other e-messages of users for six months. Moreover, companies are obliged to provide this information on request of security forces.

On October 1, during a festive event, dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov greeted the guests of the event, veterans of the ministry, and expressed his gratitude for their efforts, invested in the development of the industry.

 

On October 1, IoT World Summit 2018, dedicated to the development of the Internet of Things Technology started in Kazan. Representatives of the IT industry from Russia, the USA, Asia and Europe, who have already applied the most advanced digital technologies in their practice, were the summit participants.
