According to the results of 11 months of the current year, Tatarstan ranks first among 85 regions in issuing e-sick lists. Since the launch of the project in July 2017, about 330,000 e-sick lists have been issued in Tatarstan. Over 2,200 e-lists are issued in the republic every day.
On December 13, during their working visit to Russia, the members of business delegation of Indian companies, who visited Innopolis, said that Innopolis is interesting for Indian IT companies as a place to enter the Russian market and that companies residents of a special economic zone are promising partners for Indian business. The Confederation of Indian Industry and Startups (CII) together with the Embassy of India in the Russian Federation organized the business mission of Indian IT companies. The Indian delegation included both heads of large IT companies and representatives of small start-ups.

On December 6, at the Interregional Center of Competencies - the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Dmitry Mezentsev, Chairman of the temporary commission of the Federation Council for Information Policy and Media Relations Alexey Pushkov, Deputy Minister for Communications and Mass Media Alexey Volin, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in an extended meeting, dedicated to the readiness of Russian regions to switch from analogue to digital TV broadcasting.
On December 12-16, 2018, the second industry championship on WorldSkills standards in the area of information technology DigitalSkills-2018 will take place in Kazan. The Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre will become the main venue for the championship.
