In September, high school students and college students in our region will be able not only to sit down at their usual classrooms, but also to enroll in free programming courses - to take the first step in a new and promising field of IT. Schoolchildren from Tatarstan have been participating in the Code of the Future project for several years now. Free education became possible due to the national project "Digital Economy". More than 7,400 children are enrolled in courses from leading IT companies and universities as part of the first enrollment. They were able not only to learn popular programming languages for free, but also to master other promising skills of IT professionals - application development, games, data analytics, machine learning, etc.

National Treasure is a free mobile game that allows children of primary school age, children of kindergartens to learn to count, name colors and properties of objects in their native language. The game was developed in the Republic of Kalmykia with the support of the Internet Development Institute Autonomous non-profit organization. 

MTS, a digital ecosystem, has completed work on improving communications in the major cities of Tatarstan.

August 30 is a state holiday - the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. The celebration of the birthday of the capital of our republic, the city of Kazan, is timed to the date of August 30.

In honor of the holiday, the Kazan TV Tower of the branch of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network will turn on the festive scenario of architectural and artistic illumination with the image of the state symbols of Tatarstan and Kazan and congratulations in the official languages of Tatarstan.

On August 28, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening ceremony of a new branch of the IT park on the basis of the Youth Centre in the city of Leninogorsk and will become a centre of attraction for the development of technological projects and start-ups.

The BimSkills competition has been implemented since 2020 and is aimed at training specialists in the field of information modeling in construction, implementing an integrated approach to providing the construction industry with qualified personnel, assisting in career guidance and employment of students, as well as receiving feedback from potential employers (design, construction and IT- organizations). Traditionally, the winners of the Contest get the opportunity to undergo an internship with the prospect of subsequent employment in leading Russian development and design companies that use information modeling technologies in their work, as well as valuable prizes.

On August 30, in honor of the birthday of the technopark in Kazan, a large-scale city event will be held - 0001 Fest. A rich program awaits guests of the holiday, including activities for different age categories - photo zones, a lecture hall, a concert program, children's master classes, movie screenings, yoga on the roof.

On August 25, speaking at a board meeting dedicated to the communications industry in Tatarstan, Regional Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin summed up the results of the first half of 2023. Deputy Minister Albert Yakovlev made the keynote report. This year, in 77 small rural settlements of Tatarstan, where from 100 to 500 people live, base communication stations will be installed under the programme of elimination of the digital inequality.

The Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin signed an agreement on cooperation between the government of Moscow and the government of Tatarstan on the introduction of information technologies in the sphere of education. After updating the system, Tatarstan schools will have much more efficient tools and functions for the work and organization of the educational process.

For the second year in a row, specialists of IT-companies take an active part in Cifroviada sports competitions. The event is held at the initiative of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization together with Technopark in the sphere of high technologies «IT Park» and «Digitalization» non-commercial organization.
