On July 7, more than 400 representatives of Tatarstan state financial services, local self-government and organizations took part in the seminar-meeting on information security in financial information processing organized by Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications and the Treasury Department of Tatarstan Ministry of Finance.

Eight regions presented their projects in three nominations “IT in culture and tourism”, “Systems for internal automation”, and “IT in agriculture” at the final of the 3d All-Russia contest of projects of regional informatization “PROF-IT” in Khanty-Mansiisk.

On July 7, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, representatives of legislative and executive authorities, businessmen, leading Russian and international experts in the sphere of urban planning, economics and sociology took part in opening of the conference "The Cities and Territories Tomorrow: Tools for Positive Change" in Kazan.

In the first half of 2015, Tatarstan citizens used electronic service “Making appointment with a doctor” more than 2.6 times. The service is available on the portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan, infomats “Electronic Tatarstan”, e-queue terminals, mobile application and automated doctor’s worksite.

On July 7, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of information and communications held a meeting with graduates of schools selected by organizations for enrollment to A.N.Tupolev Kazan national research technical university.

During the 4-year bachelor’s programme at the Innopolis University students will study core disciplines in computer science and Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Robotics, Information Security. Leading international scientists and experts deliver lectures in English. The university guarantees employment for graduates at partner companies.

The first day of the final of the 3d All-Russia contest of regional information projects “PROF-IT” started in Khanty-Mansiisk today. 36 of 170 projects were selected for the final.

The urban conference "The Cities and Territories Tomorrow: Tools for Positive Change" dedicated to development of urban environment and new technologies in urban planning and management will open tomorrow in Kazan. The roundtable “Innopolis: First city in the 21st-century Russia” will be the main event at the forum.

67,922 applications and 55,066 individual programmes for rendering social services have been developed in the information system “Social register of population” of the Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection. The system was created in 2014 and helps automating business processes of the ministry, save and process information about Tatarstan citizens in one information space.
