On March 13, at the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of Kazan Federal University, team of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications held an educational seminar "Digital educational campaign" and informed the state and municipal officials of the republic about the projects of the national programme “Digital Economy” and the main IT trends.
A student of the 11th grade of the Engineering Lyceum of Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev – Kazan Aviation Institute Nikita Pavlov took part in a workshop of the “I-schoolchild” project and joined the project team of the Digital Transformation Center for the development of super service.

On March 10, during his visit to Innopolis, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin addressed to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko with initiative to create a virtual special economic zone on the basis of the Regional Centre of Information Technologies and Communications to promote regional digital services.

The regional stage of the All-Russian Open Innovations Startup Tour will be held in Innopolis on March 11-12. Startup contest winners will receive invitations to Startup Village, the largest conference for technology entrepreneurs in Russia and the CIS. Submission of applications for the contest will end on March 1.

As many as 245 schoolchildren 13-18 years old from 10 countries took part in the Olympiad held simultaneously in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Hong Kong. Young programmers solved 5 tasks in 5 hours.

First Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the republic Bulat Ismagilov informed the meeting participants about the implementation of the Digital Economy national programme, the plans of the multifunctional centres for 2020 and the creation of new super services in Tatarstan.
