Results of Russian round of World Robot Olympiad were summarized in Kazan.

The Russian round of World Robot Olympiad that was held at Kazan Tennis Academy finished on June 22. More than 700 participants from 42 regions took part in the Olympiad.

On June 21, during the solemn opening ceremony of Russian round of World Robot Olympiad, ICL production and commercial centre, the official distributor of LEGO Education in Russia, presented robotics kits to teams from Crimea and Sevastopol.

On June 21, a working meeting on holding regional and national rounds of World Robot Olympiad, and international round in Sochi took place within the framework of Russian round of World Robot Olympiad – WRO at Tennis Academy.

On June 21, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Secretary General of World Robot Olympiad Claus Ditlev took part in an opening ceremony of the Russian round of the World Robot Olympiad at the Tennis Academy in Kazan. The Tespian android robot, which is called the most emotional robot in the world and previously opened the international exhibition in Hanover together with Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister David Cameron, was also involved in the ceremony.

On June 21, a briefing with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov, Secretary General of World Robot Olympiad Claus Ditlev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev, and Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Veniamin Kaganov will be held after the official opening ceremony of All-Russia Robot Olympiad.

Awards were presented to winners of Olympiad “IT planet 2014” at Kazan IT park on June 20. 36 participants of competitions, Kazan Communications Technical School and Udmurt State University received the awards.

In May parents made three times more payments for additional preschool services on the portal of state and municipal services uslugi.tatarstan.ru. More than 9, 000 payments for the sum of 19 million roubles were made last month, whereas in May of 2013 – for the sum of 4.9 million roubles.

State fees for internal passport can now be paid via infomats “Electronic Tatarstan”.
