Solemn opening of bachelor’s programme held at Innopolis University

On August 15 first students of bachelor’s programme visited construction site of the most ambitious project that implies construction of IT city “Innopolis”. It is a federal project that includes special economic zone, technoparks, residential and social infrastructure, and Innopolis University.
World’s famous scientist in the sphere of software and hardware virtualization, rector of Innopolis University Aleksandr Tormasov congratulated the students.
By results of the selection process, 26 students will start studying under bachelor’s programme “Informatics and computer technologies”.
At an expanded summing up meeting, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization emphasized the Breakthrough IT Projects programme, digitalization of the social sphere, modernization of post offices and expansion of IT solutions exports.
On January 29, at the summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization its Minister Ilya Nachvin presented a comprehensive programme for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for 2026–2030. The report sets strategic guidelines for creating a fully-fledged AI ecosystem in the region.
Under the summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications an exhibition of innovative projects is being held.
The first floor of the exhibition features 34 developments covering scientific and technological development, unmanned systems and robotics, digitalization of industry and medicine, agrobiotechnology, smart cities, social services, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
On January 29, at 2:00 PM, an extended summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization will be held. We will report on the results of our work in 2025 and share our plans and priorities for 2026.
