On August 8, First Deputy Minister of Education Natalia Tretyak, representatives of publishing houses, experts and representatives of Russian regions took part in a meeting on developing requirements for electronic textbooks.

According to Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency, new licenses were granted to eight organisations: Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, embassies of the Russian Federation in Slovakia and Slovenia, “Research Institute of pulmonology of the Federal medical and biological agency”, “East Siberian Research Centre of human ecology”, higher educational institution of Kaliningrad region “teacher training institute”, Volga orthodox institute named after St. Alexis, metropolitan of Moscow, and higher educational institution “Innopolis University”.
Requests concerning pollution of basins are being received in “Public control” system. In summer 2014, 30 requests were sent by category “water”, resolutions have been made by 15 of them, 3 requests are being processed, the status “Planned” was given to 8 requests, the status “motivated refusal” was given to 4 requests.

On August 5, competitions for replacement of vacant positions of state civil service were held at Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications.
16 million electronic services were rendered to Tatarstan citizens for 7 months in 2014. Total number of registered users made more than 1 million people.

At the beginning of August Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Azat Mubarakshyn visited Samara region to study the experience of organization of works in the sphere of informational support of Samara health care industry.
On July 30, Ministry of Information and Communication and Presidential Department of public service and personnel are launching new major project - “Unified information system of personnel of the public service and municipal service of the Republic of Tatarstan” in accordance with Tatarstan President’s Decree on state information system of the Republic of Tatarstan.
