On December 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the construction of Innopolis innovative satellite-town near Kazan. The first inspected facility was Popov Technopark, where Minnikhanov and accompanying persons looked around the ground and first floors, and other units. Rustam Minnikhanov was reported that Ak Bars Bank and Post of Russia became the park’s first tenants.
On December 30, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and Director of Kazan IT-park Anton Grachev met residents of Kazan IT-park to discuss results of the year and plans for the future.

Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov held an informal meeting with MA students and graduates of Innopolis University.
Innopolis town was included in the Council of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The decision was made at a session of the Council today. There are now 956 municipalities in the Council. A 34-year-old Egor Ivanov was elected Mayor of Innopolis town was elected yesterday.

On December 25, at a meeting with heads of information and communications enterprises, Head of the Operations Control Center of the Division of Communication Services Development of Tatarstan Ministry of information and communications Lyubov Protsyuk said that 29 million services were rendered via Portal of state services for 11 months of 2014.
A 34-year-old Egor Ivanov was elected Mayor of Russia’s first IT town Innopolis on Thursday. Egor Ivanov has worked in IT industry for many years and has obtained wide experience in managing big infrastructural projects and technological startups.
