Ministry of Information and Communications and Yandex, in the presence of Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Director General of Rostec corporation Sergey Chemezov, and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov signed an agreement on opening of Yandex development office in Innopolis.

Innopolis University will hold the final of All-Russia Robotics Olympiad that is dedicated to fighting against wastes. It aims to make participants of robotics movement thinking about problems of environmental pollution. To take part in the competitions at Innopolis, 8000 children from all over Russia designed and developed robots that will help people to reduce waste and organize the process of its treatment.
