The Cup of professional hardware and software developers - Developer Choice will be held during Kazan Startup Weekend at IT-park on November 26. The event is dedicated to development of solutions in the sphere of industrial Internet of things that will help to automate assembly processes at country’s enterprises.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications has launched an updated information system “Database of disabled people of the Republic of Tatarstan” that automates the work with extracts from individual programme of rehabilitation of a disabled person or a disabled child.

Russian robot technicians have won five gold, one silver and two bronze medals in Costa Rica. The Russian team was trained at Innopolis University. World Robot Olympiad 2017 finished in San José. For two days 392 teams from 53 countries have been competing for medals in the Main, Creative and Student categories. Russia was presented by 41 robot technicians from 10 regions.

DemoDay, the final part of the biggest startup event in the Volga Federal District Kazan Startup Weekend will be held at Kazan IT-park on November 26. Best projects, biggest Venture funds and leading business angels of Russia such as Starta Capital, KamaFlow, Pulsar Venture Capital, AD.ru, Ak Bars bank, Sberbank, ICL will take part in the event.

The selection championship  JuniorSkills is being held in the Republic of Tatarstan. Students of IT lyceum are taking part in eight competences. Four teams from IT lyceum will take part in the regional championship.

Employees of Digital Media Lab of Higher school of information technologies and systems won a medal at hackathon “Make up a university” in St.Petersburg. The team presented a project on the technology of virtual reality that helps to make up complicated engineering solutions.

Specialists of the Center of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan have told how to use state services in electronic format. A few meetings on benefits of state and municipal services in electronic format were held at Kazan helicopters plant and Giproniiaviaprom on November 9.

Representatives of Worldskills Korea and Samsung Skills Center in South Korea visited Tatarstan and the Interregional center of competences - Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications and Kazan trade-economic technical school.

63 teams from Tatarstan and Chuvashia took part in the 18th All-Russia Olympiad on programming at Innopolis University. The competitions were held in the format of international Olympiad ACM ICPC. The competitors were solving tasks in one of the languages C/C++, C#, Java, Python, Pascal, Kotlin.

Rostelecom, Tattelecom, Huawei and Ministry of Information and Communications have concluded an agreement on cooperation under which the parties will indicate areas of partnership in the sphere of 5G development.
