On April 10, in the technopark in the sphere of high-technologies IT Park, the opening ceremony of the final of the contest of the best school and student IT projects “Digital Start” aimed at identifying potential leaders of the IT industry organized by the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the IT Park took place.
On April 9, in the press center of the international news agency "Russia Today", a board meeting of the Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media with participation of about 400 representatives of public authorities, entities of the Russian Federation and heads of the information and communication industry took place. Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan - Minister of Informatization and Communication of the republic Roman Shaykhutdinov became one of the participants of the event.

On April 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on the development of the city of Innopolis. Minister of Communications and Mass Media of Russia Nikolai Nikiforov took part in the meeting.
On April 5, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – the regional Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in the joint meeting of the Commission on Education and Science of the Legislators’ Council at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Legislation Committee of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.
