Qualifying competitions in IT competences among the winners of the regional stages of the Young Professionals Worldskills 2019 National Championship are held these days in Moscow, Ufa and the Tomsk region. The participants are competing for the right to take part in the final, to be held in Kazan in May. Participants from Tatarstan are also taking part in the competitions.

For participation in the 8th contest “Together into a Digital Future”, organized by Rostelecom Company together with Ericsson Company, journalists and bloggers of the Volga region sent 270 works. The largest number of applications at the regional stage of the contest came from Tatarstan.
Development of residents of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone in the area of solutions for the "smart city" is introduced at the Smart City Summit & Expo Annual International Exhibition held from March 26 to March 29 in Taipei. This is the largest Asian exhibition dedicated to "smart cities" and the "Internet of things", with more than 300 high-tech companies, city mayors, architects, real estate developers taking part in it.

Tatarstan citizens have access to a new category of appeals in the People's Control system, namely, everyone can send questions regarding the transition to digital television. On June 3, 2019, Tatarstan will fully adopt the digital broadcasting.
On March 25, in the city hall of Naberezhnye Chelny, meeting participants discussed the work of the local IT park. Mayor of the city Nail Magdeev urged the business representatives to get acquainted with the development of residents of the IT park.
