Since October, Tatarstan will start connecting socially significant facilities under the federal project “Information Infrastructure” of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation national programme to the Internet.

Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication informs citizens of the republic that maintenance works will be carried out in the republic on September, 10 from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. and can result the interruption of broadcasting of the programmes of digital television.

On August 28 last year, Innopolis became the first city in the world to use an unmanned taxi for everyday life. To date, residents of this city have already made over 4,000 trips in unmanned vehicles.

The most popular route was the road from work home. There is a record holder, a resident of Innopolis rode an unmanned taxi almost 100 times a year!

The IT-cube children's centre for IT creativity at the Interregional Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications enrolls the school children for free courses of IT professions. Classes will start in September.

This year, 92 students graduated Innopolis University, in particular, 45 masters and 47 bachelors who graduated from the full programme of the IT university, from first to fourth year. Graduates have already received job invitations from such companies as MTS, Diginavis, RTK SoftLabs, NNG, BarsGroup, Document Management Systems, Portavita, Marketplace Technologies.

The eighth grader from Kazan Bulat Kharisov as a member of the Russian national team will take part in the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics. For the international eJOI competition, participants were selected and trained at Innopolis University. They will compete for the victory with students from 23 countries in Slovenia on August 23-29.

On August 16, at the Tochka Kipeniya of Kazan IT-park, the final of the IT-Jump PRO Youth Innovation Campus took place and eight IT-projects won prizes. Seven participants will compete at the All-Russian case-championship in Sevastopol.
