On July 12, we celebrate a special day - Russian Post Day - a professional holiday for postal workers.

Today Tatarstan Pochtasy Company has 1,111 regional post offices, 29 mobile post offices and 20 automated terminals. As many as  8,256 people are devoted to their work in the postal service. Last year alone, over 83 million letters and parcels were received and delivered, and the total revenue exceeded 2.5 billion roubles.

The Russian Post and Avito increased the possibility to send prepaid goods to post offices throughout the country.

The Russian Post, the largest logistics operator in the country, will be responsible for the delivery of medicines and other pharmacy products. There are plans to cover over 9,000 pharmacies by the end of the year.

It is possible to schedule an appointment for service in advance with Russian Post offices online on the company's website or through a mobile application.

A new feature has appeared in the Russian Post mobile application: now each user can send a parcel to the addressee using only his phone number.

On July 15, speaking at a weekly meeting with enterprises of the industry at Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication, Director of Tatarstan Pochtasy - branch of Russian Post Enterprise Regina Kuznetsova said that since August 1, all postal items from Manchuria Province of the People's Republic of China will directly arrive in Kazan by regular train, bypassing the logistics postal centre in Moscow.
