First STEM centres of Innopolis University opened

The open day was held at STEM centres of Innopolis University last week.
STEM centres are located in Kazan (Profsoyuznaya st., 42, and Yamashev st., 8).
The programme of additional school education STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is meant for children of 6-11 forms. It aims to promote further education in technical and research sphere and help to adapt to student research activities and university education.
The project also includes student practical activities using innovative teaching methods developed by Innopolis University in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University.
Studies begin on October 26, 2013.
