Letay improves the quality of mobile communication in 17 more settlements in Tatarstan

Letay Telecom Operator, a part of the Tattelecom Group of Companies, continues the work on improving the quality of the network. In April 2023, 30 base stations (BS) were built and modernized in 17 settlements of Tatarstan. Over the past month, 4G mobile Internet appeared in six settlements of the republic, in one of them mobile communications were completely absent before. Kazan became the leader in the amount of work carried out, where 10 base stations were built and modernized. Planned network optimization continues in Naberezhnye Chelny. Over the past month, five base stations have been modernized in the autocity. At the same time, the capacity of 18 existing BSs of the LTE standard increased, which increased the speed of the mobile Internet. Improved communication conditions have also become available to residents of Menzelinsk, Chistopol, Aznakaevo, Kukmor, as well as Alekseevsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Spassky and Sabinsky regions. Analysis of data for the specified period fixes an increase of 3.5 per cent in the rate of successfully installed voice connections, a 5 per cent increase in the speed of packet data transmission, with a steady increase in the volume of traffic by 1.5 per cent per month.
