Tatarstan children to be taught cryptoart for free
Mobile TeleSystems, the digital ecosystem and the animated series Smeshariki (Riki Group of Companies) have launched a free online educational course on digital art under the MTS all-Russian charitable project Generation M. The online course will allow children to get acquainted with NFT technology and take their first steps in the IT sphere by creating their own 3D art object.
The online course consists of a series of educational master classes on the website of the creative online project «Generation of M», developed especially for preschoolers and schoolchildren of junior classes. In an interactive format, experts in the IT sphere «MTS Digital» and creators of «Smeshariki» will inform children about the relationship between art and digital technologies, teach to create NFT-art and explain why he «lives» on the block chain.
To consolidate the knowledge gained, at the end of each video lesson, young participants will do homework. Together with the experts of the online course, they will try to depict world-famous paintings using modern computer programmes or any other tool they like.
After completing the training workshops, the most active participants aged 6-10 will try their hand at the “Draw with Smeshariki” contest. Until May 31, 2023, it is necessary to upload the work created during the homework to the website. The winners will have a trip to St. Petersburg to the computer animation studio where Smeshariki are created. For the second and third places, the contestants will receive multifunctional smart watches from MTS and branded gifts from their favorite heroes.
